United Nations -- Data on the trade indicators related to the Millennium Development Goals is available at http://unstats.un.org/unsd/mi/mi_goals.asp . The United Nations also has a Commodity Trade Statistics Data Base that allows the user to search for trade in selected commodities by country and by year (from 1962). The data base is at http://unstats.un.org/unsd/comtrade

World Bank -- The World Bank provides trade data in time series on its subscription data base  World Development Indicators data base. You can get the data for the latest year for a single country from links on http://www.worldbank.org/data/databytopic/databytopic.html 

World Trade Organization (WTO) -- The WTO has a wealth of trade data on its website, downloadable in Excel format.  International Trade Statistics for 2003 are available at http://www.wto.org/english/res_e/statis_e/its2003_e/its03_toc_e.htm . There are more than 380 tables at this site. Most of the tables are time-series summaries by region and sector, with a few by major countries, however, in the Appendix Tables four tables give 10 year time series for nearly all countries. Many of WTOs reports are also downloadable from https://secure.vtx.ch/shop/boutiques/wto_index_boutique.html including International Trade Statistics 2003 and some previous years.
