The World Bank provides limited data on industry. You can access the most recent data at the country level for the World Development Indicators (WDI) .

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) also prepares industrial statistics. Most of the data is available only on a commercial basis, but UNIDO does provide free a country by country data base with some data (including limited time series data) on industrial performance, manufacturing value added, employment and wages by industry, composition of trade, among others, at http://www.unido.org/Regions.cfm?area=GLO .
